Introducing
Needle.

The needle in
the haystack.

Needle takes its name from the search for something valuable in a mass of everything else. For a product, that is a person with a real need it can meet.

The haystack keeps growing.

Large language models have made writing code, launching a product, and producing content faster and cheaper. A small team can publish at a pace that once needed a much larger operation.

But the ability to publish is growing faster than people’s capacity to pay attention. More products, posts, and pitches compete for the same hours in a day. Easier production does not automatically create more demand.

The work of sorting it all falls on the person looking for help. They have to work out what is relevant, what to trust, and what actually fits their situation. Even a useful product can become another thing to scroll past.

Start with the need.

Publishing in bulk and hoping the right people find you adds to that burden. It asks someone with a problem to search through everything you and everyone else have put out.

Needle is built around a different starting point: look for people expressing a need, understand their situation, and establish whether your product can actually help. A shared keyword is only a clue. The fit depends on the problem, the constraints, and what the person is asking for.

That is the idea behind Needle: finding the person for whom your product is useful, and giving them a relevant reason to consider it.
